Right. Same rule as cars — do not start a marine engine on contaminated fuel. Even more critical with diesel inboards, because a contaminated injection pump in a boat is a much bigger workshop job than in a car.

Tinny, jet ski, inboard cruiser — does the service differ? +
Same process: drain, flush, refuel. Jet skis and tinnies are quick because the tanks are small. Inboards take longer because of the plumbing layout. Ben asks about your vessel on the call.
Can you drain the fuel with the boat in the water? +
Yes, if the access is safe. Marina pen, jetty, slip — Ben works around the situation. Most jobs are easier with the boat trailered or on a slip, but in-water is fine when needed.
How much does marine wrong-fuel rescue cost? +
Most jobs are $150-$400. Marine sits a bit higher than car jobs because of the extra time + the disposal handling for marine waste fuel. $$ is the typical range.
