Two different "flat batteries"
12v aux battery dead
Modern EVs use a separate 12v battery for unlocking, infotainment, lights, and powering up the high-voltage system. If this dies, the car effectively bricks — you can't even unlock it. Fix: jump-start the 12v.
Traction battery at 0%
You drove until empty. The car shuts down and won't move. Fix: enough emergency charge to limp to a public charger, or a tow to a charger (we coordinate this).

My EV is flat. What can you actually do? +
A few things, depending on what is wrong. If your high-voltage traction battery is at zero, we can sometimes give it enough emergency charge to limp to the nearest fast charger. If the 12v auxiliary battery has died (which disables a lot of EV controls including unlocking and starting), we can jump-start that.
Can you fast-charge me roadside? +
Not at DC fast-charger speeds — that requires fixed infrastructure. We can put enough charge into a modern EV to get you the next few km to a real charger. For some vehicles, that is the difference between "stranded indefinitely" and "back on the road tonight".
What EVs do you cover? +
Most modern EVs sold in Australia — Tesla, Polestar, MG, BYD, Hyundai (Ioniq, Kona), Kia (EV6, Niro), Mercedes EQ, BMW i-series, Volvo XC40 Recharge, Nissan Leaf. If you are not sure, give Ben a call with the make and model.
How much does an EV emergency assist cost? +
It depends on the situation — 12v jump versus traction-battery emergency charge are different jobs. Most callouts are in the $150-$350 range. Ben confirms the price before we start.
How long will it take to reach me? +
Same response window as our fuel rescue — 35-60 minutes in the Perth metro. Longer for Mandurah and the hills. Ben gives you an honest ETA on the call.
